Found this today.
Sounds cool to me.
Thinking I may have to get this!
Cooper has just completed work on a covers album featuring songs that were originally written and recorded by THE DOORS, Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon and THE WHO, members of the so-called "Hollywood vampires" of the early and mid-'70s. A spring 2014 release is expected.
"We're still adding on certain people; we have a list of people that we want to get and a lot of times it's scheduled," Alice said. "In a situation like this, you have certain friends you want to put on the record and their availability is really what it is… y'know, finding where they are, what they want to play and when they want to play."
Pushed for names of the special guests, Alice replied, "I'm just saying…probably the 'usual suspects.' Put it that way."
"We're really happy, all of us, everyone involved in the covers because it's pretty much what we wanted to do," Cooper told RollingStone.com earlier in the year. "We specified a certain time period and said, 'Let's stay within that. Let's not move it around too much.' We don't want to be doing cover songs from the 80s and 90s when the Hollywood vampires kind of thing was more '73, '74, '75."
Back in March, Cooper said about the upcoming CD: "We do a thing in our show, which is a tribute to Hollywood Vampires, my drinking club. And it was Keith Moon, John Lennon, Harry Nilsson, Micky Dolenz — a very eclectic bunch of drunks. Half of them are dead, so we do four songs in the show in tribute to them. We do 'Break On Through', 'Revolution', 'My Generation' and Jimi Hendrix's 'Foxey Lady'. I just kind of said, 'We've never done a covers album, let's think about that.'"
Asked what some of the wish-list songs are, Cooper said: "I would keep it right to about '73, '74. I don't want to just go anywhere. I want to keep it right in that sort of drunk era, so it's specific. I would say 'Break On Through', that's a really good rock track there. The other ones, think of it — Harry Nilsson, there's a lot of good stuff there that could be rocked out. I think of songs as being clay. Take a song like 'Jump Into the Fire' and take that to a harder level, and that'll work."

So I am kind of the fence with this one.
To the hard core STP fans this may not work but I think what we have heard so far is good.
I will give it a fair shot for sure.
Read on and see what you think.
STONE TEMPLE PILOTS will release a new five-song EP called "High Rise" on October 8. The disc will be the second release featuring LINKIN PARK singer Chester Bennington following current single "Out Of Time", which emerged last spring and went to No. 1 on the rock chart. "In terms of style, when the DeLeo brothers [Dean and bassist Robert] get in the studio and start writing, they have a very unique way of putting chords together and structures and the type of chord progressions they put together," Bennington said of writing process in the new STP. "So, in that sense, it's gonna be undeniably the sound of STP — I mean, they're the heart and soul of the band. Naturally, I'm not [former STONE TEMPLE PILOTS singer] Scott [Weiland], so I'm not gonna think of the same melodies, I'm not gonna think of the same lyrical content and such, so in that sense, naturally, there's gonna be a difference in terms of how I interpret what the band puts together musically. I think that's one of the reasons why we're so eager to get the [new STONE TEMPLE PILOTS] EP out, because we want people to hear the new direction and feel the vibe of the new music. Because there's definitely a vibe in that EP that is fresh and it's new but it still feels very STP." He added: "When we started writing, the ideas came so fast; every single day, it semed like there was four or five things that we were all bringing in and contributing in terms of new songs. We could have easily spent three more months on this thing and had a full-length record out. There's enough material there for us to do that and start getting into the next one. So in terms of the amount of creativity that's been going on, it's very healthy." STP fired Scott Weiland in February after reuniting with him in 2010 for a series of tours and one self-titled album. The band had previously been on hiatus since 2002, primarily due to the singer's struggles with drugs and alcohol. The group sued Weiland in May, accusing him of using the band's name to advance his solo career, while claiming that his poor performances, late arrivals, and addiction struggles harmed the band's career. Weiland has countersued, claiming that the band cannot use the STONE TEMPLE PILOTS name without him.
The audio quality isn't all that much, but you get the idea of what you're seeing here. Jerry Only from the Misfits singing "Hatebreeders", which is where Hatebreed got their name from, at the Starland Ballroom in New Jersey!
I figure these two videos can give you a better understanding about this song, the power of music, and how it's alright to get help if you need it! Please do. Suicide is a serious thing and shouldn't be taken lightly.
I will say this, about the music video, you can see it in Shaun's face how much the loss of his brother hurts him! How he filmed this, I do not know.
NOT only will Lamb of God be here on November 1st at The Midland - with Killswitch Engage, Testament & Huntress - and Randy Blythe's got a memoir coming out in 2014 about his time in a Czech Republic prison for manslaughter, of which he was fullyacquitted, BUT they're to re-release their sophmore album "As The Palaces Burn"!
