Let me know in the comments what you thought on these two!

First one is by Serj Tankian, Tom Morello, Vinny Appice & Rudy Sarzo

And the winners are....

So the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame inductees were announced today and many were shocked (myself included) to see GREEN DAY on that list. Are they RNRHOF worthy? Some would argue Yes, while others, clearly from internet postings, say NO! For me, I suppose, the hardest thing to understand is why they would be in their first year nominated. That's probably the most baffling.

Here's the list of others going in next year in Cleveland:

STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN & DOUBLE TROUBLE
JOAN JETT & THE BLACKHEARTS
PAUL BUTTERFIELD BLUES BAND
LOU REED
BILL WITHERS
RINGO STARR
THE "5" ROYALS - an early 50's/60's R&B band inducted as an Early Influence Award Winner

Now here's some who ARE NOT in the Rock Hall of Fame and based upon what's floating around the internet, many feel need consideration. What do you think?

JUDAS PRIEST
MOTORHEAD
IRON MAIDEN
MOTLEY CRUE
WARREN ZEVON
YES
BON JOVI
DIO
MOODY BLUES
CHICAGO
DEAD KENNEDY'S
THE MELVINS
PHISH
JOURNEY
BLACK FLAG
SLAYER
PIXIES
NICK CAVE

New Music Tuesday (11/18)

Today we’ll go from Canada to California! Old school & new announcements for Next Year!
Let’s get into it, shall we?!

Canadian juggernaut NICKELBACK is back with their 8th studio album, “No Fixed Address”. CHAD KRUGER and company have been the butt of many a jokes over the years, but in the end it’s them laughing all the way to the bank when you consider they’ve sold 50 Million albums worldwide! Catch them live at the SPRINT CENTER in March, on the 2nd, with opening act THE PRETTY RECKLESS.

IN THIS MOMENT were just in town at the MIDLAND THEATER, recently.  They’re out on tour in support of their latest offering, “Black Widow”, which according to front-woman MARIA BRINK is a much darker side of herself than she’s ever put out there before.  This is, also, their first album with ATLANTIC RECORDS.

Outer space rockers MONSTER MAGNET put out “Milking the Stars: A Reimagining of Last Patrol”. This is one of those bands I hope to eventually see!

I’m pretty sure I know what I want from St. Nick for X-Mas this year!! Just the reissue, on vinyl, of the debut album “Life Time” by ROLLINS BAND!! This is the first full-length studio album from Rollins Band & was produced by hardcore punk legend, IAN MacKaye!
