Dear Johnny,

Hi, my name is Jessica. I'm 37 and have 4 beautiful

children, ages 16-7. 7 years ago I gave birth to my youngest daughter, Kyela, who was born with a rare genetic disorder called Conradi Hunnerman. It's a very rare disorder that’s a form of dwarfism and severely affected her legs and spine. We were in and out of the hospital for almost 2 years. It really affected my work schedule and my time with my other children. So much so that my two oldest children went to Norfolk, Virginia to stay with their Dad and his wife.  These past 7 years have made me realize what's really important in life. My little girl has been in and out of the hospital, had multiple surgeries, but she is the true definition of love and endurance.  We are currently in the process of preparing for another surgery and family is more important than ever.  The reason I am writing is that my oldest daughter moved home with me over a year ago, but my oldest son is still with his Dad. We have an agreement through shared custody for visits throughout the year, but tickets to come home this Christmas are just too expensive. My ex-husband and I have worked on how to get him a flight home, but we just can’t afford it.  My wish this year is for my son to be able to come home to spend time with his brothers and sisters. With all the stress of medical problems and financial difficulties

I just want to be a whole family for a while. Can you please help my little boy come home for Christmas?

Thank you so much for listening to my story and happy holidays.

Jessica
