Tonight (March 20) through Thursday, March 23, Anthrax’s drummer, Charlie Benante, will guest-drum on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

From tomorrow night tune in to see @skisum on @latenightseth tearing up the set! March 20 - March 23rd #Anthrax

Benante will join the show’s house band, The 8G Band, during this week’s guest role.  (Fun fact about The 8G Band: The group is led by former Saturday Night Live cast member and Portlandia star Fred Armisen.)

This isn’t the first time the Late Night band invited a guest-drummer on stage. Benante follows Primus’ Tim Alexander, Deftones’ Abe Cunningham, Tool’s Danny Carey, and more.

And because we don’t want you to miss out on catching some Anthrax drumming, Late Night airs weeknights at 12:35 EST on NBC.

In the meantime, catch Anthrax perform “Monster at the End” off For All Kings back in August of last year.
