Have had a few people ask me why Freakers Ball this year is not a metal show.
And over the past few years Freakers has been a metal show but talking with The Bob this fall he could not find many good metal bands to fill a good stage at Freakers.
So he got us this.
It’s a solid line up in my book and as much as I would have liked a metal show myself I would have felt ripped off with the few that were available.
Don’t despair I am sure we will have another good heavy show in the near future and I hope to see you here this year!
Till next time!

Would you buy any of this?

Found this on line and got me to thinking...Would I?

I dont think so.
Im sure its some cool stuff but it will cost way too much and in my opinion its not really GNR anymore.

Read on and see what you think.

GUNS N' ROSES fans can own a piece of the band's storied history by bidding on pieces of GN'R's used touring equipment on eBay.

The equipment, which comes from the depths of the band's warehouse in Santa Monica, California, will be listed at random over the next several weeks under the eBay seller name "dvamp2u."

The touring crew has handpicked items to make room for new gear as GUNS N' ROSES prepares for upcoming shows.

Items currently up for auction include custom bass and electric guitars, banners, road cases, wireless microphone monitors and mixing boards. Buyers must pay for shipping and autograph requests will not be honored.

GUNS N' ROSES will launch a Las Vegas residency at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino this fall. The series of 12 shows starts October 31 and wraps up November 24.

In addition sole original member Axl Rose (vocals), the current lineup of GUNS N' ROSES includes guitarists Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, Richard Fortus and DJ Ashba, bassist Tommy Stinson, keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Chris Pitman and drummer Frank Ferrer.

Come on man.
We have all known and loved Wes as part of the family around here for a long time.
Way before he made it big and it really makes me sad to see yet another bad story about him.
I really miss the sweet kid that would show up at all the shows.
He always had a smile on his face and was there to have a good time but not too good.
I have held back on a lot of the things I have seen over the years but honestly I think it is time for Wes to spend a little time behind bars.
Not in a mean sort of way but if he does not beat whatever has got him he is not going to be around.
Here is the story from TMZ.
Please get your shit together Wes.

With bloodshot eyes and a half-cocked smile, Puddle of Mudd singer Wes Scantlin posed for the cop cam yesterday after he was arrested for being a disruptive drunken idiot on a flight.

TMZ broke the story, a JetBlue flight bound for L.A. made an emergency landing in Austin, TX yesterday after Scantlin allegedly got in a heated drunken argument with a flight attendant.

Once the plane touched down, Wes was arrested for public intoxication -- but he could also face prison time for interfering with a flight crew ... a federal crime.

Scantlin is due in court in Austin on October 3rd, when he's scheduled to be arraigned.
