A few days ago, via Facebook, my girlfriend and I saw that five Great Pyrenees puppies had been abandoned and that a Good Samaritan had brought them into Great Plains SPCA. The posting said they’d be available for adoption in a couple-few days. We discussed it, laid out the Pros and Cons and made the decision to pick up two of them. I got there fifteen minutes after the adoption center opened and one of the females, total was three males two females, had already been adopted. But the gods were smiling upon us because the two I wanted to look at, who came to me in a very timid state, were still in the kennel by the time I was able to grab one of Great Plains employees to help me. By then, a male had been snagged, thus leaving only three left. I can’t say for certain the other male was adopted but I can’t imagine, either, he lasted long. Tons of people were flocking in to look at these little guys. It was a quick process and now we have two, amazing, fun loving, little fur balls; Gonzo and Succotash!
